Her home sits between two
fences, between two
worlds.
The answer isn't in walls that disguise land grabs.
The oppression of the Palestinian people, and the occupation of their land is
wrong.
The international community has condemned this situation, but the United States
has used its seat on the U.N. Security Council to veto any actions that would
help the Palestinians.

Israeli collective punishment is a violation of the Geneva Convention, yet it
continues with U.S. leadership support and U.S. foreign aid.
No
protected person may be punished for an
offence he or she has not personally committed. Collective
penalties and likewise all measures of intimidation or of terrorism are
prohibited [...]

The report of the bombings of the two buses in Beerseba, Israel, and the loss of
innocent Israeli lives is another terrible act of violence that cannot be
condoned by Palestinians or Israelis.
Violence perpetrated against civilians by either side, Israeli or
Palestinian, cannot be justified, and will not bring peace any closer.
Those who desire peace can't allow the radical fringe to put peace out of their
reach.
Violence reciprocated
with violence will only spiral into eventual disaster.
