Peace can be Patriotic!
Don't confuse our anti-war beliefs with our patriotism, or our support of the men & women in the armed forces.
The United States was founded on the right of citizens to disagree with government policy. To attempt to silence dissent is un-American.
The people in the armed forces don't choose the battles they only fight them. They are bravely doing their duty as their government has required.
The best support we can give them is to make sure Washington knows we don't want our sons and daughters put in harms way for an unjust reason.
Now that the United States illegally invaded, and interfered with another sovereign nation, even though ruled by a tyrant (that we once allied ourselves with), we need to respect the will of the Iraqi people. It is their country, their right to choose a religious/political destiny and their oil.
We have homeless sleeping in dumpsters in our cities to keep from freezing, yet we can spend billions on a war with a hidden agenda of global domination for U.S. interests. See PNAC.
There is something seriously wrong with a country that values Christian ethics so highly yet seems to practice them only when it is convenient.
Greed, Power & Self Interest, is the energy behind wars.
I love my country and value every human life, that is why I speak out.
I respect the opinions and rights of others, but look where the leaders are taking us. Don't just accept the direction with blind faith.

Dedicated to our son, Sean. who served in the U.S. Army Reserves, Mid-East Forces.
We were fortunate enough to get Sean back safely from Iraq.
Our love and prayers are with all the women & men still serving in the military and the people of the Middle East.
We pray that peace and love will prevail over ignorance, intolerance and greed.
