These are Palestinian
homes that were demolished by
the Israeli government for improper permits or
security reasons.
In many cases Palestinian citizens can't obtain the
permits necessary to keep their homes from being
demolished.
Below is a photo of a
"Peace Center" built on the location
of a Palestinian home that had been demolished four times
by the Israelis.
The "Peace
Center" has been spared demolition because
it is not considered a dwelling.
International visitors are welcomed so they might learn more
about the Palestinian plight under an illegal occupation.
A beautiful garden is dedicated to
Rachel Corey, a 23 year old
American Peace activist, who was
killed by an Israeli bulldozer that was destroying a
Palestinian home.
